Auto Pay and Auto Recycle

Hello:
When you have Auto Pay enabled, does that work no matter how many days your RR may have to expire? Some sites Auto Pay will not work after a RR reaches less than 20 days on its life before expiring. Also, is there any Auto Recycle after so many days of inactivity.
