My first day as a gold member and I only have an average of 4,716, I just hope that in a while I will have a higher average to make a profit. And if you give me any advice I would really appreciate it

Referrals take time to get active, give it a few days before deciding upon recycling ... 5 days should be the starting point... Go for the max 500, keep your autopay off if you are not already there. This will help you to rent faster.
I don't know your long term objectives and your investment strategy. So, if you are thinking quick returns then, stick to autopay ... setup a bench mark. Keep extending the referrals coming below it for 2 months minimum. If, you are in a tight spot at some point, disable autopay to achieve the objectives then get back to "autopay on" again and regain the lost ground(below the bench mark). Sort of "Round - Robin" thing, till you decide your next move. Happy hunting! Best wishes for your account! Create a thread where I/we can help you out in your decision making. Keep rocking!

No need to decactivate autopay for now. As, I see you have also graduated from Silver to Gold like me. I had a different agenda that time as I was trying a few things. I guess your RRs which you hired when you were Silver are below 20 days now. As I said earlier, use autopay to your advantage. Setup a bench mark and try to extend the RRs below it for minimum 60 days. If by month end you are short on renewing your Gold then switch off autopay and make some quick money for the renewal. Then back where you started. Somewhere down the line you will find your opportunity to cashout. I accumulated that money to get my Yearly Gold, which works out $2.5 cheaper than Monthly Gold. Keep all your referrals, less than 5.5 in 10 days, recycle. Under your bench mark extend never the less. Best wishes once again!

ok then I leave the autopay activated and deactivate it if I do not have enough money to renew the gold membership and I try to renew the referrals to 60 days

15th Nov 2020: Another batch of 50 RRs extended for 150 days. As per my equations, Min-Max days are 31-50 days for the remaining 300 RRs in the current priority list. 50 RRs in 8 days works out 48 days to complete them before I take up the next in queue vis-a-vis the probability to induct some fresh blood. Next batch in the list will be on 23rd Nov, Dec is going to see 4 batches, 6th batch will be complete in the 1st week of Jan 2021. Current state of account after spending $32 on extensions:

Balance: $3.0992
Purchase balance: $28.5308

*I am looking forward to execute the last batch a day or two earlier as that will be running down to the wire. Just to safe gaurd against any last minute issues.

*16 Nov 2020 04.29.20(server time) No figures are being fudged or posted glamourously. I am not being paid to post my stats either. Make your own judgements ...

Balance: $8.0842
Purchase balance: $28.5008

*Sorry! I am slow(04:40:00 server time)

*23rd Nov 2020: Another set of 50 referrals extended for 150 days with an ease($32). Min-max is now 25-42 days to expire for the remaining 250 RRs. Next batch will be on 1st Dec alongside, my monthly report.
Balance: $8.5726
Purchase balance: $26.1708

I have already recovered my recurring costs and extension money for my referrals, rest of the earnings now go towards ... the extra batch I am going to have next month and my corpus when I take the next big leap.

Well! Dec has started and we are in a festive month. Very soon I will be completing my 1st year as a Yearly Gold member(18th Dec). I have proactively renewed it in July 2020 during promo and looking forward to do it again in July 2021. In the time being, after going thru the motions, I am also looking forward to expand my RR base to 1000. We will take that up next month when I am at it. For now, here are the stats or the month of Nov 2020 ...

Total Clicks: 128809
Average: 5.72484444444444
Recycles: 64
Recycle Value: $1.92
Total RR Revenue: $128.809
Revenue (-) Recycling: $126.889
Total Extensions: 150
Extension Spending: $96(150 days)
DRs: $0
Earn More: ~$0.20
Own Clicks: ***

It may look like +$30 profit from the looks of it, but remember Dec I am going to have 4 extension episodes of 50 each $32*4 = $128 and above that I have to save for expansion planning. Anyway! the current status of the account is as follows ...

Balance: $14.1652
Purchase balance: $23.6008

This is after extending the 50 RRs which were due for extension today. Next batch is going to be on 9th Dec. Till then .. Keep Clicking and keep winning!
*Min-Max for expiring referrals 20-34 days.

*9th Dec 2020 Update : Another batch of 50 referrals have been extended for 150 days. Min-max for the remaining 3 batches(150 referrals) is now 16-26 days. I now have a corpus to extend my next batch for 150 days as standby, which I am going to use on my last batch if needed. Next batch on 17th Dec to be followed by another on X-mas - 25th Dec.

Balance: $8.4891
Purchase balance: $31.1208

My Pre extension plan after extending the current Priority list.

Strategy No.1

Well! I am now settled into 150 days extension mode, which work a lot better than 90 days mode. This now allows me to move forward and plan my expansion on RR front. The cost dynamics change here as I will be spending more on extensions. Let's now look at 1000 RRs scenario. Essential points to keep in mind,
1. 1000 RRs means that now I am loosing 1000 RR days everyday(autopay off), clicks or no clicks.
2. Monthly membeship cost reduces from $7.5/750 to $7.5/1000.
3. Monthly recycling cost increases as more RRs are now in focus for non-performance.
4. Extension cost increases from base price of $0.16 to $0.17, here it is important to hire a bigger batch to gain some advantage. A batch of 300 would push me into next slab. So, 200 is a better option followed by a batch of 50.
5. Obviously with a bigger base the daily revenue increases. Now, some constants ... recycling cost/RR remains same. Cost of extension changes as per table below ...

90 days $0.4335
150 days $0.68
240 days $1.02
365 days $1.447

Similarly, the 50's batches that we worked out for 750 referrals also change here. Since, we are now looking at replenishing the 1000 RR days every day or better. So, the equation works out like this ...

90 days 12 RRs/day 1080 RR days $5.202
150 days 7 RRs/day 1050 RR days $4.76
240 days 5 RRs/day 1200 RR days $5.1
365 days 3 RRs/day 1095 RR days $4.341

Here, the 90 days extensions becomes uneconomical. But, I am going to use it to break up the 200 RR batch by extending 2 batches of 50 RRs for 90 days(in 5 days cycle). Point to remember that is, 90 days extension still works out better than Autopay. If later on I find myself in a tight spot, I might still use it again. But 150 days is the bare minimum one should be extending at this point, remaining 3 batches will be as per that. Now, after hiring 200, I will be hiring the next batch of 50 in 5 days time(I can do it in 3 days), again to have some split between the batches. With 1000 RRs, I am making my calculations on an average of 5.3 clicks(it's going to be better, I assume) hence a daily revenue of $5.3 to work upon. So, extensions have to be kept around this to book some profit side by side.

90 days 50 RRs in 5 days($21.675 - 900 RR days/day) $4.335, 5 days 60 RRs seems better option(calculations above).
150 days 50 RRs in 7 days($34 - 1071 RR days/day) $4.86/day
240 days 50 RRs in 10 days($51 - 1200 RR days/day) $5.1/day, 11 days also feasible.
365 days 50 RRs in 17 days($72.35 - 1073.53 RR days/day) $4.26/day, 18 days also feasible.

Contrary to what people think. It becomes easier to manage your referrals as your base grows, if your basics are right. At any given time I can pause my extensions and book my profits. Recalculate/recalibrate and move on again. So, here on I am going to take another pause and start working towards my $90 kitty for the July renewal. June I might take a few days off, just to block my $90 towards renewal and then carry on once again. In the mean time, if I am comfortable at some stage. I will think of graduating to 1250 RRs, I have not worked out the budget for that as of now.

So, for the time being, I am going to do 2 batches of 90 days and 3 batches of 150 days. Before, recalculating my min-max equation and move forward there on. For now, I have also exhausted my corpus in renting. I have to rebuild that too. Keep clicking and keep earning! Best wishes for your respective accounts!

As per me "RENT", unless you have them from outside thru your own ad link on a forum, blog or another website. From my small outing on this side of DR buying experience.

Strategy No.2

The thread is all about stategy. So, let's discuss another possibility. If I decided to do a 500 RR batch instead of 200+50. I did this calculation the day I posted my 1000 RR plan a few days back. So, some details might be off, as I am doing assumptions over a longer period of time. I was working on the ways to split the 200 RRs into the batches of 50's when I gave myself a more ambitious target to work on a 500 RRs batch. For doing 250 RRs, I needed $50 in spare to work(basically to complete the hiring). But, to do 500 RRs, I need $80 to just hire the referrals alone on top of it a clear 90+ days for the next batch of referral to come for renewal. So, here is what we have ...

Base 0.18
30 days 5% 0.171
60 days 10% 0.324
90 days 15% 0.459
150 days 20% 0.72
240 days 25% 1.08
365 days 30% 1.533

Now, the target is to do 500 RRs total in 5 batches, 100 RR split and staggered batches, with a per day budget of ~$6.3 or ~$190 to work with in 30 days. To buy some more time, first extension of 250 RRs for 60 days on achieving $81 in balance, then another 250 RRs for 60 days on achievng another $81. So, now we have all of the 500 RRs extended for 60+ days(2+ months). Point to keep in mind here is that 60 days extension is as good as doing a part Autopay, which is not possible to do otherwise as the autopay works on all the referrals, not a portion of your referrals. The remaining referrals are loosing a day every day. So, it is important to have a clear way ahead of you before doing this. After that ...

Day 3 $18.9 100 RRs for 30 days $17.1($1.8 left)
Day 8 $33.3-$32.4 100 RRs for 60 days ($0.9 left)
Day 16 $51.3-$45.9 100 RRs for 90 days ($5.4 left)
Day 27 $74.7-$72 100 RRs for 150 days ($2.7 left)
Day 44 $109.8-$108 100 RRs for 240 days ($1.8 left)
*The above calculations are based on assumption that I start with ZERO balance. $190-$81-$81=$28 would most likely be the seed money for the equation, if we consider day 31 as start day. Then the Day 3 can be actually my day Zero on 1st 100 extensions. But we have covered that by assuming that we will have 60+ days in hand and we can keep remaining money for the recycling and stuff. So, a marginal buffer should be enough for this after that.

This now leaves us with a split of 500 RRs in 5 batches of 100 each instead of a single big chunk of 500 with some days to spare as the 100 extended for 30 days rejoins the queue for re-extension along side remaining 750 referrals and remaining 400 referrals spread all over the RR base, after the above cycle is complete. That would be the time to do the min-max equation once again. While also planning for the renewal of Yearly Gold during July promo. All I would need to do is, take off some 12-15 days down the line and it will be covered. Let's see how things shape up. I should be working towards 150 days extentions as a standard once again but I might have to start with 90 days or even 60 days once again to get the equations right.

I am sharing my tentative 50's batches as the factual figures will start rolling in the days to come after renting. I have kept some margins for errors. But, with this pressure things can go horribly wrong too. Like last year in March when I had a horrendous time with average going down to 5.1 during the start of Covid pandemic.

90 days 50 RRs in 4 days - Adding back 1125 days against loosing 1250 days(not good)
150 days 50 RRs in 6 days(ideal case) - Adding back 1250 days against loosing 1250 days
240 days 50 RRs in 10 days - Adding back 1200 days against loosing 1250 days(not good)
365 days 50 RRs in 15 days - Adding back 1216.66 days against loosing 1250 days(not good)

So, I think I will have to now start working on bigger batches than 50's. Maybe, 100's when I have some days to spare after the initial fire-fight is over. Also, this strategy engages me for 3 months and gives very little time to plan my July Yearly Gold extension plan.

Please give your inputs and votes for the two plans shared. I will be all eyes and ears for that. I do have time for either of the plans as they materializes in Jan 2021.

Balance: $16.6223
Purchase balance: $40.8208

********
* I did a simulation test of the strategy, here are my findings ...

Sustainable 100's batches

90 Days 100 RRs in 7 days - $45.9 - 1285 days/day - Costly, works out $6.557/day(Exceeds budget)
150 Days 100 RRs in 12 days - $72 Sames as 50 in 6 days(no gains, just mantaining status quo) - $6/day
240 Days 100 RRs in 18 days - $108 - 1333.33 days/day - $6/day(V.Good)
365 Days 100 RRs in 25 days - $153.3 - 1460 days/day - $6.132/day ... 26,27 and 28 days also feasible(Excellent)

Now, the problem here is that after finishing my above excercise. I get stuck into 150 days cycle for a long time. Which hampers my July renewal of Yearly Gold accumulation. I think, it is better that I go by 1000 RRs equation and plan the next expansion after hitting the 240 days cycle. The excercise was not in a vain but then I again get stuck in a stalemate if, I follow that.
